Gareth Potts comes to Shooters Bar in Bangor

Pool legend Gareth Potts from England, (pictured right), will be taking part in a "Charity Day of Pool" in Shooters Pool Hall, Bangor along with our very own Ronan McCarthy, current Northern Ireland Champion. Bangors Terry McDowell is organising the event to raise funds for "Marie Curie Cancer Care" Kick off will be1:00pm on Saturday 21st April.

Players can "Challenge Ronan" for £5 per frame. If you win you get £15 back, if you lose your £5 goes to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Players can also buy tickets for a raffle to "Challenge Gareth" for a best of 3. If you win you can pick one of the many prizes donated by local business's. Any prizes left at the end of the day will be auctioned off, to get a total amount for the Charity.

Under 23s 2012 Trials

Under 23 trials for 2012 International duty will be held on the following dates. Pictured right is the famous Bridlington Spa venue which will host the 2012 European Championships in March/April

Sunday 13th November 2011 - 147 Snooker Club in Omagh, County Tyrone at 1:00 pm
Saturday 26th November 2011 - Shooters Pool Hall in Bangor, County Down at 1:00 pm

Entry fee - £5 (Anyone attending 1st event gets free entry into 2nd event)
Dress code - Trousers, dressy shoes, shirt with collar (No jeans, trainers or football tops)

Ladies Tour Event 1

Event 1 of the new Ladies NI Pool Tour run by Shooters Pool Hall and the Kingfisher Bar, both in Bangor, County Down, will take place this Sunday 13th November in Shooters with an 11:00am start.

All entries must be received by Friday 11th November before 12:00 midday. The draw will be posted on the website with allocated timeslots. Anyone not in the building for the start of their match will lose a frame every 5 minutes. A one minute per shot rule will be in place on the day.

£100 prize money will be paid out on the day
